Saint Patrick's Day...COLD and RAINY!

I snuck up on her to take this picture early one morning. Her lastest thing has been to have Boudreaux sit with her while she gets a little TV time in the mornings. It just cracked me up to see she had the most "Mad at the world" look on her face!!

She does have a great imagination with her dress up clothes!!

Buzz and Superbowl

Madison's preschool class all had a chance to bring home "Buzz"....a stuffed animal bee. There was a book about Bees, and a journal we had to record Buzz's experiance with us. Here is Madi in the morning wanting to read the Bee book.

Buzz got to go to gymnastics. He had a lot of help with warm-ups.

Not to be outdone by some of the Coast Guard kids that took Buzz on to their ships.....Buzz went to work with Dad. A little bit of relaxation before Buzz's big adventure.

We were lucky to have gotten Buzz over the Superbowl weekend. Buzz gets to snack with Madi.

I just love this picture. We were lucky enough to have found a Saint's jersey in Key West....but I had to buy an 8-10. At least she'll have room to grow in it!!

Meeting the Disney Characters

The Florida Foster care program really has given us some really cool "freebies" like when the Disney Cruise line was in town and we got a special invitation to come see some of the characters. We had been at a Christmas party right before coming to see the characters, and we didn't tell Madi what the surprise was. We waited, and waited, and she waited soooooo patiently, considering there were a gazillion other kids there and it was hot. Thank goodness some of the staff came around to talk to the kids.

Talk about excitement!! Problem was, after we finally got to see them, they herded us like cattle and each child only got to spend like 30 seconds with them.

We were also disappointed they didn't have more characters there. But hey, beggars can't be choosy I guess.

Her face says it all...it wass too hot, we waited too long and it was time for a nap.....lol.

Madison and Miss B with hammers and nails?? What were we thinking?? Home Depot project. Actually they did very good. Thank goodness there are also prince's to play with.

Madi won her robot from school. Well....I should say I won the robot because I had to fill out addresses for a magazine fund raiser for school. At least she won.
