She made everyone crack up when she turned around and asked, "Daddy, what'd you do with your gum?" And then everyone laughed wondering if she was flipping him off!! Luckily I had taken the picture at just the right time!!

Awwww! Love these pictures! I love how the military tries to include family in promotions and things. A while back when we lived in NC, my husband was at his "Paddle Passing", leaving one unit for the next and was awarded a paddle from the unit. The paddle is passed around and whoever has it gets to speak about the person that is granted. My daughter marched over to all these guys in uniform, put her hands on her hips and demanded a turn holding the paddle. They didn't argue. They handed her the paddle. She said very loudly, "My Daddy ROCKS!" and handled the paddle back. There was so much laughter in that room. :)
